Minecraft Beta

Since it kicked off in 2017, the Minecraft Beta has been one of the Xbox Insider Program's virtually active playtests, and we've created this resources to assistance with joining or leaving.

NOTE: To participate in the Minecraft Beta on Xbox One or Windows 10, yous must ain Minecraft. If you don't own the game, joining the beta will redirect yous to the Store page where you can purchase the game.

Note: You won't have admission to Realms while previewing a Minecraft Beta update.

How to Bring together the Beta

  1. On Xbox Ane or a Windows 10 PC, sign in and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
  2. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows 10 on PC)
  3. Select Bring together.
  4. Wait until the enrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
  5. Install Minecraft from the Store page, or, if Minecraft is already installed, launch the game and expect for an update prompt.

How to Exit the Beta

NOTE: Earlier leaving the Minecraft Beta and uninstalling Minecraft, we recommend you back up your Minecraft worlds.

  1. On Xbox One or a Windows 10 PC, sign in with the business relationship that registered for the Minecraft Beta and launch the Xbox Insider Hub.
  2. Navigate to Insider content > Minecraft (or Minecraft for Windows x on PC)
  3. Select Manage.
  4. Use the radio button to select Unenroll (Get out this preview), then select Done.
  5. Wait an additional 30-threescore minutes subsequently unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
  6. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.

Minecraft Beta FAQs

I'm trying to leave the beta on my Windows ten PC, but the beta even so installs even after following the steps to leave?

If you're still receiving the Minecraft for Windows 10 Beta or Minecraft with RTX for Windows 10 Beta build later on unenrolling, please try the steps below:

NOTE: Earlier leaving the Minecraft Beta and uninstalling Minecraft, we recommend you back up your Minecraft worlds.

Solution A:

  • Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft for Windows 10.

Solution B:

  1. Re-join the Minecraft for Windows x Beta (navigate to Insider content > Minecraft for Windows 10 > Join), and select the Group you lot want to leave.
  2. Once the registration completes, select Manage > Unenroll.
  3. Wait an additional 30-hour subsequently unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
  4. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft.

Solution C:

  1. From the Search bar on your Windows 10 PC, type "Command Prompt"
  2. From the search results, correct click on "Command Prompt (Desktop app)"
  3. From the context carte, select Run as Administrator.
  4. Select "Yep" if you are prompted with "Practice you desire to allow this app to brand changes to your device?"
  5. In the Ambassador: Control Prompt window, type powershell and press Enter.
  6. In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, typeGet-AppxPackage -allusers *minecraftUWP* | remove-appxpackage -allusersand press Enter.
  7. Wait an additional 30-60 minutes after unenrollment completes (Pending no longer appears in the Xbox Insider Hub).
  8. Uninstall and reinstall Minecraft for Windows x.
